What products does the marketplace sell?

We’re starting with single music therapy interventions that you can purchase, download, and immediately implement in your music therapy sessions. Our goal is to ensure that interventions can be immediately applicable, so we’ve included a variety of files to help you learn it on the go! Each intervention package is unique, so make sure you have every component downloaded.

What editing processes do the intervention packages go through before publication?

The interventions are proof read for grammatical and formatting errors, and all hyper links are checked at that time. Proofing also includes listening to and watching all media components to ensure that they are of the highest quality. Another facet of the editing process is ensuring readability and aesthetic presentation. The most important question we ask during the editing process is, “is this music therapy intervention designed with good, clear, and appropriate therapeutic intent?” After the Publisher reviews the document, changes to the submission are requested, and approved for sale. Who is eligible to submit interventions?

Board certified music therapists, or board certified music therapists working in conjunction with other licensed professionals (such as Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, etc). The Publisher searches once contacted to ensure that every music therapist is board certified. We’re not suspicious, we just want to ensure that each intervention is of the highest therapeutic quality and one way we can ensure therapeutic quality is by guaranteeing that each intervention is submitted by a MT-BC!

How do I submit an item?

Why do you have a zero returns policy?

The Music Therapy Marketplace has a zero returns policy to ensure that information is not purchased, downloaded, and then “returned”, therefore getting interventions for free. There is no way to guarantee that the individual purchasing the intervention has not downloaded the item. Because we value the customer experience and the honesty of music therapists, we offer multiple opportunities to cancel one’s purchase, as well as a product description and thorough keywords to ensure that each customer gets the items they are looking for.

What is a multi-user license?

This license is perfect for private practices or facilities who have more than one MT-BC. By purchasing this license, you are able to print multiple copies of each intervention and the intervention package components.

How do you determine your pricing?

Each intervention is listed for sale at $5.00. This price point was determined after interviews with dozens of board certified music therapists! Each package includes everything you need to creatively implement the music therapy intervention.

How often do you list new content?

Once a month! New content is released on the 15th of each month. If you are interested in submitting a contribution, plan for your intervention to show up a month from your initial contact to the Publisher. For example, if you contact the Publisher in September, your intervention will most likely be listed on October 15th.
